Due to inclement weather the Brew and Bow Tie Bash scheduled for tomorrow night has been postponed. A new (warmer) date will be announced soon.

The Sikeston Jaycees presented Southeast Missouri Challenger Baseball with a check for $14,000 toward the construction of the new Challenger Baseball Field. Sikeston Jaycee member Shawn Towe stated that this project will be a terrific addition to the Sikeston Sports Complex and that the Jaycees are proud to provide the seed money to get the project started.

Here’s your chance to re-live your childhood and play the game that we all grew up loving one more time!

All games will be played on the t-ball fields at the Sikeston Sports Complex.

Bracket will be DOUBLE ELIMINATION.

100% of the proceeds will go directly to Southeast Missouri Challenger Baseball to help with the construction of the new Challenger Field to be built at the Sikeston Sports Complex! Southeast Missouri Challenger Baseball provides the opportunity for children with disabilities, even those that use wheelchairs or walkers for mobility, the chance to play baseball.

Registration per 5 player team is $100.

Official “Major League Wiffle Ball” Rules will be followed. Only official Wiffle Balls and Bats will be used. All equipment will be provided!

We will also be offering concessions, music, announcement and scoring of each game!

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishing teams with a $500 cash prize to the first place team!

Must be 16 years old or older to participate.

Based on the response and the amount of teams that we get signed up, we will offer practice times prior to the event.

Volunteers are needed also! We need officials, help with concessions, etc! Please email info@semochallenger.org if you are interested in helping!

Our game on Saturday, October 4th has been moved to 2pm. This is so our players and their families can enjoy the Kenny Rogers Children’s Center Charity Walk. The Charity Walk is at 9am at the Sikeston First Assembly Of God Pavilion, right down the street from where we play. 1221 N. Ingram Road.
